Diagnosing Energy Waste

October 26, 2017
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Clackamas Community College/PGE Corporate University Campus
29353 SW Town Center Loop East
Wilsonville, OR 97070

How do you know if the equipment in your facility is wasting energy? Are the improvements you made last year resulting in the energy savings you expected? Looking at just your whole-facility energy use can leave some of these questions unanswered. This workshop will help you determine when it makes sense to monitor individual pieces of equipment and which tools to use. You will walk away with an equipment monitoring plan for your facility, and free access to diagnostic tools from the Smart Building Center’s Tool Lending Library*, many of which will be demonstrated during the workshop.

This workshop will help you:
• Know if your systems are operating efficiently
• Identify which systems make the most sense for you to monitor and what type of tool you will need
• Analyze the data to troubleshoot and fine-tune building performance
• Develop an equipment monitoring plan
• Access free diagnostic tools from the Smart Building Center

*Energy Trust of Oregon provides access to the lending library to at no cost to customers they serve.
